- Bass Fishing (April – November):
- Target species: Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass.
- Trip details: Available from April to October.
- Sturgeon Fishing (Spring & Fall)
- Target Species: Lake Sturgeon and Shovelnose Sturgeon
- Trip Details: 4-Hour Afternoon Trips
- Catfish (Late May – October 15th):
- Target species: Flathead and Channel Catfish.
- Trip details: Evening trips generally begin around 6 PM, and run until 11 PM. Day-time availability upon inquiry.
- Northern Pike (April – October):
- Target species: Northern Pike.
- Trip details: Spring and summer are prime times for pike, and can be booked separately or in unison with bass trips.
- Panfish (Year Round):
- Target species: Jumbo perch, Crappies, Sunfish.
- Trip details: Ice fishing in winter, boat trips in spring, summer, and fall.
Booking and Reservations:
- Booking through the booking page or email.
- $100 non-refundable deposit to secure dates.
- Balance due upon meeting at the launch.
Cancellation Policy:
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- Re-booking is subject to availability.
Trip Details:
- Full-day and half-day options.
- Catfish trips for 5 hours in the evening.
- Group size varies by trip type.
- Fishing locations on Pools 6-8.
Equipment:
- 2024 Excel F4 Viper 1860 w/ Yamaha 70 HP
- River Bent Outfitters provides all major equipment for your guided fishing trip.
Guidelines and Safety:
- Age restrictions: Clients under 18 must have a guardian.
- Physical requirements: Clients should be in reasonable health and able to move around in the boat.
- Safety measures: USCG Certified Captain, life jackets provided, USCG requirements met, captain certified in first aid and CPR.
Pricing and Payment:
- Rates vary by trip type and group size.
- Payment methods: Paypal, Cash, Venmo, Card.
Weather and Conditions:
- Trips operate in various weather conditions including inclement weather
- Potentially dangerous weather conditions may lead to cancellations or shortened trips.
- No refunds based on poor fishing conditions or bite.
Our Amenities:
- Fully outfitted trips.
- Tactics and information about the Mississippi River explained.
- Bait, lures, and equipment provided.
Client Responsibilities:
- Paper copies of WI or MN fishing licenses are required for clients 16 and older.
- Limited space for food and beverages.
- Weather-appropriate attire is recommended.
- Cooler to bring home your Catch (We do not clean fish)
